Our Founder

Angela Bankhead, a retired Navy veteran from St. Louis, Missouri, served for 20 years, attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Throughout her career, she served in various duty stations, including a deployment to Afghanistan and multiple tours aboard Naval Ships, earning accolades such as Sailor and Instructor of the year. Post-military, Angela pursued her passion for empowering others through her brand Gracefully Chosen, following nine years in Federal service. With a commitment to community service she holds a Masters degree in Human Services and is recognized for her humanitarian efforts, including sponsoring needy families during the holidays. Angela's unwavering dedication is rooted in her faith, as she draws inspiration from Isaiah 1:19.

Our Mission

Inspired by the words of Matthew 22:14, "For many are called, but few are chosen," Gracefully Chosen is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving our community with compassion and dignity. We are committed to feeding the homeless, assisting homeless veterans in finding shelter, and providing essential resources. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope, reflecting God's love by uplifting and empowering those in need, ensuring that every individual feels valued and supported on their journey to stability and self-sufficiency.
